New Hampshire, “The Granite State” with the state motto “Live Free or Die.”, was the first state to have its own state constitution and is the only state with neither a general sales tax nor a personal income tax.

New Hampshire is bounded by Quebec (Canada), Massachusetts, Vermont, Maine and the Atlantic Ocean to the east, having the shortest ocean coastline of any U.S. state!

Manhattan “island of many hills” (Manhattan Island, Roosevelt Island, Randalls Island, Ellis Island, Liberty Island, Marble Hill and Belmont Island), an island borough of New York City, New York, is the most densely populated and also the second wealthiest county in the United States. Manhattan is the economic engine of New York City, more than half of Manhattan residents over age 25 have a bachelor’s degree, the fifth highest of all counties in the country.

Germany is home to the third-highest number of international migrants, having also the largest population among the EU countries with over 82 million inhabitants.

Germany has a number of larger cities, the most populous being Berlin - its capital, Hamburg, Munich, Cologne, Frankfurt and Stuttgart.

Hamburg-Harbour is the second largest port city in Europe (after Rotterdam) and ninth largest in the world. Hamburg is also the most populous city in the European Union which is not a national capital, Hamburg metropolitan area is home to 4.5 million people.

The 13 Colonies, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia, rebelled against british rule in 1775 and declared their independence from Great Britain on July 4, 1776.

They became the first 13 states. Virginia was the first colony in the New World.

The compromise of 1850 also admitted California as a free state and separately organized the territories of Utah and New Mexico without restrictions on slavery.
